Vic: Kosky says she wants complaints
Victorian Transport Minister LYNNE KOSKY insists she's happy to hear concerns from
commuters .. despite issuing a letter to her parliamentary colleagues asking them not
to bother her with complaints.
Ms KOSKY admits the letter to government MPs could have been better worded .. but is
aimed at helping her colleagues resolve voters' issues quickly.
She says commuters are better off addressing some of their complaints to the companies
that operate the transport system .. or to the state's transport ombudsman .. who can
offer a faster response.
Ms KOSKY denies shirking her responsibilities and says it's a genuine effort to assist
constituents .. not prevent letters coming to her.
She also says she's not concerned the letter was leaked to the media by one of her
colleagues .. and denies a number of her fellow Labor MPs dislike her.
