Fed: Labor offered stability whic coaliition could not: Boswell
Queensland National Party Senate leader RON BOSWELL says Labor offered Queensland voters
what the Coalition parties could not -- stable government.
And in a strong call for an end to division, Senator BOSWELL says outspoken Queensland
MP BOB KATTER should put up or shut up.
Mr KATTER has slammed the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister JOHN ANDERSON for the
party's disastrous performance in Queensland and says he won't rule out a challenge.
Senator BOSWELL has told ABC radio he doesn't believe Mr KATTER would have the numbers
to win any leadership challenge.
He says the federal coalition would be foolish to ignore the implications that federal
policies played a part in Labor's landslide victory in Queensland.
He says there was a fragmentation in the conservative vote as people opted for the
stability offered by Labor.
