QLD: Judge seeks treatment after street attack

BRISBANE, Jan 12 AAP - A Queensland Supreme Court judge was the victim of an attempted
street robbery at the weekend.

Justice John Muir was waiting outside a fish and chip shop in South Brisbane with his
wife Sandra on Saturday when he fought off an attacker.

An unemployed man, who was detained in the city less than half an hour after the attempted
wallet snatch, appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
