Warning over fake hair straighteners

Trading Standards officials in Somerset have warned shoppers tobeware of fake hair straighteners being sold through the internet.

Fake versions of hair straighteners made by GHD have failedsafety checks with electrical cable falling off the products -putting owners at risk of electrocution or a house fire.

Officers at Somerset County Council are advising consumers to buythe items only from approved agents, listed on the official GHDwebsite.
